A very noble & heroic thing will take place on March 28th at the American Legion Hall in Macon, GA. US 80 that runs from Tybee Island to Sandiego, CA is being dedicated (The GA Section) as the Korean War Veterans Hi-Way, 3 states have already dedicated their sections, we will be the fourth. Macon Legion Post is #3 in GA, Atlanta is #1, Fitzgerald is #2. This war has been called the “Forgotten War”. There was 54, 246 died, 103,284 wounded and the MIA’s number 8,177. To me that should not be a forgotten war!!

Crappie has been good for those that could stay on a “Hole.” By hole I don’t mean a deep hole, I mean a place where they like to hang out. Many good coolers were taken this week. One 90 year old gentleman casting Jigs took home 35 nice Perch. He was well pleased.
We will be having an Easter Sunrise service next Sunday at Wingate’s. Ya’ll come on out and bring your chairs, the frogs and the birds will likely be joining us if it’s warm enuf!
