Seminole Ramlin's

My remember brain is broke down here in the middle of the floor, however, my forgiter brain is running wild all over the place.  Sorty like an engine on toy train track, round and round it goes so as where she stops nobody knows.  Now what is it that I came here at this table to do?  Paper and pen in hand, oh well, it’ll come to me after awhile.

Thanks to International Paper Co. the Decatur Co. annual rainfall is 55.4”.  July normally has the most 6.1”.  October has the least 2.7”.  This is for them mite want to know.

Mr. Scott Kerslake of Henderson, NC has to his credit 2 Bass in the 6 lbs. class and many 2 & 3 pounders.  One day he had 5 bites & tipped the scales at 20 lbs.

Plenny limits of Crappie made on Jigs, however, wind had a big factor in that, when it blew no one could fish Jigs.

The Media Bass fish out at Wingate’s on Saterday in cold rain safe day lite to 3pm.  The #1 place went to Merritt & Key with 13.23 lbs. of Cold Bass.  They were taken on Carolina Rigs in 12 to 15 ft. of water.  2nd Place went to Mr. Hollis who fished by himself & used a Rattle Trap to weigh in 11.83.  He sed he ran the trap over shallow grass.  3rd Place went to Mr. Lamb who also had to fish by himself & only had his trolling motor to fish with.  He trolled out one canal & back in the other.  He had 9.19 lbs. and the Big Fish, a 6.64 lbs. Ma Bass heavy with eggs.  The water temp he was in was 52° to 54°.  Tindel and Tindel was last.  The mayor of Colquitt got 2 drops of water down his neck & headed for Colquitt.  He sed, “The creek was runnin’ 3 days a week now.”  They never lost a Bass, all swam back to be caught again.

Scott Kerslake, of Henderson, NC with a nice 6+ lbs. Bass he caught on Thursday
