After
3 ½ hours in the Drs. Office I felt like a cell phone in a
teenagers hand, he punched all my buttons.
Three
out of the four days this week we have had “Near Full Pool
Readings”. That hasn’t happened in a long time.
After
laying down to take our after dinner nap, Miss Joyce & me dropped
off into a deep sleep. I drempt that I was wadding a creek,
frog giggin suddenly old ber gator up and bit my gig handle in two
and then jerked the rest of the handle out of the way and come at
me. I was hittin his nose with my fist when Miss Joyce woke
me up. I was pounding her hand as the gators mouth. Cold
sweat I was in as I woke up. As I say, “Gitten old
requires stamina.”
Many
deer hunter say they have seen more deer this year than ever before. There
has been a lot of deer killed by cars and trucks on Hwy. 97 this
year.

Bass will be launching out of Wingate’s this Saterday and next
Saterday will be Fishermen for the Hungry. Then the Stren Series
will start out of the Boat Basin in
Bainbridge the following Friday.
The
very best catch of Bass made was 4 Bass at 19 lbs. A lot of
Bass Fishermen are testing the waters now for the “Stren Series”,
but things will change by the time they get here. There could
very well be bedding Bass in some places.
Perch
again has been taken in limit numbers this week. We think they
are moving to shallow water to bed. A couple of limits were
taken in 4 ft. of water.
Duck
Hunters are having a good season on Ringnecks, BluBills and Woodys
but still no one has come up with a way to get to the Big Ducks,
Canvasbacks and Pintails. They will get up and fly way up 500
ft. and come down in your boat wake.
