The BASS Toyota Tundra Weekend Series fished out of Wingate’s on Saterday and here is how it finished on the Boater side:  #1 Patrick Brown, from Swainsboro, GA with 15.22, #2 Rodney Conine, from Camilla, GA with 10.02 and #3 Brian Bishop of Gray, GA.  He also had Big Fish at 8.07.

Co-Angler side went like this:  #1 William Mullis, from Bainbridge, GA with 9.17, #2 Daniel Hinkelman, from Covington, GA with 7.41 and #3 Jeffrey Wade, from Bonaire, GA with 6.51 and he had the Big Fish on the Co-Angler side.  31 of the Co-Anglers did not weigh a fish.  18 Boaters blanked also.

Going into the finel day of the Stren Series, Mike Jackson of San Mateo, FL was leading the Pro side with 28.13, Clint Brownlee of Tifton, GA had 26.15 and Nicholas Supik of Natronia Hts., PA with 23.08.

Going into the finel day on the Co-Angler had Gerritt Goins of Cleveland, TN with 14.07, Joseph Jenkins of Harrogate, TN had 14.02 and Stephen Kocel of Waxhaw, NC had 14.01.

Now the finel days results is like this:  #1 Clint Brownlee of Tifton, GA with 45.04, #2 Mike Jackson of San Mateo, FL with 39.10 and #3 Curt Fannin of Prestonburg, KY with 31.10, local anglers, Frank Jordan, JR came in #6 with 28.15 and Troy Arthur came in #7 with 28.12.

The Co-Angler went like this:  #1 Bill Dunn of Maynardsville, TN with 22.06, #2 Ralph Mosely of Panama City, FL with 20.05 and #3 Gerritt Goins of Cleveland, TN with 18.14.  Angelo Koundourakis of Recovery, GA came in #32 with 8.14 and was the closest local fisherman to the top.

So far as we know, 100% of the fish was released in both of the tournaments.  That is because of the “Catch & Release Powder and the Release Boats.”  All the anglers wants to save the fish.  When you think that each week we have like the last one, it brings in $17 million to the economy of this area.  Nice Green Bills.

In spite of bad weather there has been boats reporting catches of Perch up to 59 Huge Crappie on Minnows & Jigs.  Good to see this taken place.
