Thomas Jefferson sed it in the late 1700’s, “Those who hammer their guns into plows will plow for those who don’t, why do politisions want more gun controle?”

Todd Hedley of Tallahasse, FL took a 9.8 lb. Largemouth Bass Saterday and not in a tournement.  Just out fishen by hisself.

Cedric Suber won the Bainbridge Bass Clubs Tournement here out of Wingate’s on Saterday with 5 fish at 8.02 lbs.  Richard Predmore had Big Fish at 3 lbs.

We heard from the Sowega Bass Club’s fish out on the creek, it was won by Wes Bruner who also had Big Fish at 6 lbs.

The Rod Benders of Inverness, FL had a 2 day tournement here at Wingate’s.  Jeff Lee had 11 lbs. first day and 12 lbs. the second day.  They come once a year and just tease the heck outta Miss Gale.  They like to say, “The one with the beard did it!”  Problem is, they all have beards.  What a great bunch of fun guys.

There was a sixty boat tournement out of Sneeds Park.  We didn’t get the results yet on them.  The wind has been a factor this weekend, it just don’t seem to let up.

David Mock on Wednesday did well on Horny Toads & Worms.  They were moving into shallow water and lilly pads.

Good mess of Shellcrackers on Wigglers in the stumps.  They also had 20 Specks taken on Minnows.  Another boat took a fine mess of Catfish on Worms.

Mr. Spooner of Iron City sed a lady took a 6 ½ Talapia from the waters of Spring Creek.  These fish eat the same food as Bream, Catfish and Specks.  They will cut down on the population of the 3 fish I mentioned.

Cedric Suber of Bainbridge, GA with some of his winning catch in the Bainbridge Bass Clubs tournament out of Wingate’s on Saturday
