Seminole Ramlin's

July 22, 2007

Nic Jeter, local fisherman and very good young man has landed the World’s Record Nurse Shark at 263.8 lbs.  It took 1 hour and 40 minutes to land.  I.W.F.A. should let it be known rite shortly, he was fishen off of Port St. Joe.

The Seminole Team Trail fished Saterday with Jody Weaver & Robert Weeks takin First Place with 10.78 lbs.  Matt Baty & Clint Brown took Second with 10.7 lbs.  Big Fish was 5.57 lbs. by Clint Brown.

Saterday afternoon Mr. Davis had several Bass – 9 with 3 in the 4 lbs. class.  How he can stay out in that hot sun is more than I can figure.

Most everyone in the Bass Fishen world was saddened Monday when Tim Tucker was killed in a car wreck near Gainesville, FL.  He leaves a wife and twins, a boy & a girl.  It goes to remind us that we should post out book regular, cause you never know when your day is comin.

Midweek this week after telling everyone that the Top Water bite was dead, low and behold, they commenced to take Top Water most every day & are still doing it.  Some very fine Bass was taken using Frogs & Spinner Baits along grass walls and the Frogs here in the big lily pads worked slowly from pad to pad.

The Bream has bedded in so many different places, and many limits were taken.  Josh & Jake Armstrong went out with Steven Wells and caught a rite perty mess on Thursday.  One of the best places to see beds is on the Chattahoochee River near the Sneads Park swimming area.  Just bed after bed along the shore line.

Huge Willow Fly Hatch was out and with the rain the flies were scattered.  Fly rod fishen was rite slow.
