Wednesday of last week Pam Martin-Wells on a guide party took 7 nice Bass on a Fluke, same day Randy Weaver took 13 nice Bass on Spinner Baits in shallow water.  There is something to be sed about knowing the water in which you fish and then knowing what to throw.

The Tuscawilla Bass Masters of the Orlando area fished Friday and Saturday with Billy Darnley of Port Hatchineha, FL winning the first day and Jim Miller of Oviedo, FL winning overall on Saterday with 13.23 lbs. of Bass.  A very windy day.  What a great group of guys, they were here all week and we enjoyed their visit.

The Tallahassee Hawg Hunters fished out Saterday with a cotton basket of Bass taken on many Lures.  Mr. Les Shouppe won with 14.13 lbs., Mr. Jerry Syfrett took second with 12.9 lbs.  Mr. John Totun took third with 11.11 lbs.  Jerry Syfrett had Big Fish with 6.15 lbs.  There was 23 fishermen and 15 – 5 fish limits were taken.  One at 6.15 lbs.

The Talquin Hookers fished out also Saterday with a nice group of ladies, first place went to Linda Chellite with 10.33 lbs. and she had Big Fish with 6.38 lbs.  Mrs. Lonnie Walsh was second with 6.93 lbs.  Mrs. Mercia Brown had one fish at 5.71 lbs.  As best as I could remember there was 4 – 6 pounders caught that day.  All but one of the fish was released back into the water, he was gut hooked due to the wind so high.

Jim Miller from Oviedo, FL with one of his winning fish from the Tuscawilla Bassmasters Tournament held on Friday & Saturday at Wingates. Tuscawilla Bassmasters Tournament winner

Billy Darnley of Port Hatchineha, FL with his winning catch on Friday in the Tuscawilla Bassmasters Tournament held at Wingates. Tuscawilla Bassmasters fisherman

Linda Chellite with the 6.38 lbs. Big Fish from the Talquin Hookers tournament fished out of Wingates on Saturday. Talquin Hookers tournament big fish
