Seminole Ramlin's May 21, 2006 The 35th annual Memorial Day Buddy Bass Tournement sponsored by the Bainbridge Bass Club will be on Sunday coming up. The Media Bass Trail of Cairo, GA will be on hand and will allow teams to fish together and weigh-in on the same scales at the same time. There has been many limits of Perch made on Seminole on Jigs this week. One boat reported 3 limits on Jigs early and late. We also heard that a group of Marianna men took 600 Bream from Lake Talquin, down at the lower river near Owl Creek. The Bream and Catfish bit good for sure. Our neighbors over on Spring Creek “The Pearsons” broke all the records of their yearly tournament shoot-out. 22.5 lbs. of Bass and Big Fish a 7.5 won by Jim Murry. The Chattahoochee Valley Tournament this past Sunday was won by Tindle and Tindle with 22.7 lbs. and Big Fish at 7.32 lbs. and that was in 90° weather. Some of the fishermen sed the hydrilla nats were out in droves. We got word that Pam Martin-Wells finished in 4th place over all, 2 ½ lbs. out of the lead, in the latest WBASS. On her first day she was in 10th place, on the second day she finished in 6th place, and ended up 4th overall on the third day. She is a great fisher lady. We do hope the hi winds will stop for a while so I can get in a little Fly Fishen late evening. Sorry
