Seminole Ramlin's

July 2, 2006

Why come it is that when one of our soldiers is caught for shooten someone he’s guilty til proven inicent and everywhere else one is inicent til proven guilty?

Since it is the Forth of July weekend, I would like to remind folks that General Washington galloped his horse into the Battle Zone and relieved Light Horse Harry Lee of his command and turned the army around and almost captured the huge wagon train of supplies. Van Stueben had trained his army and Gen. Washington was confident he could win. All Presidents have problems.

Talking to folks over the weekend who regular catch Hybreds, sed they did well this past week on Crank Baits and took 2 – 12 lbs. Channel Cats on the same baits he was getting Hybreds on. On Sunday, July 2nd, Donald Culverson showed us 3 Big Bass that he had taken on Top Water – he had caught 9. We continue to catch Bream on Crickets. The Flint will soon get real muddy as will the Chattahoochee. The Beds will be hard to see in the mud.

The extreme heat drives a bunch of folks off the lake before they are finished fishen.

We are still catchen great catches of Speckle Perch on Jigs, we still wonder why?

Many good catches of Catfish is on worms, on the river bottom. They seem to be taken advantage of the deep cool water.

The picture is of Donald Culverson with some nice Bass he caught this weekend.
