Seminole Ramlin's January 22, 2006
Jim Cochran won the Rose City Bass Club’s Fishout with 3 Fish at 14.73 lbs. almost a 5 lb. average. Darrell Davis had a good pair of Bass also. Nick Jeter also had a whopping nice Bass Saterday. The Bobby Dews Tournament out of George Bagley State Park, 43 boats fished, the Law Brothers won it with 19.77 lbs. Big Fish was 8.33 lbs. Profets went to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. An Atlanta boat had the best ever day on Seminole, landing 5 Bass at 30 lbs. That relates to 5 lbs. plus per fish! Plenny of Catfish most of the week. Nuthin big but good eating size. Like a Tamp Nuget Cigar. One boat reported 20 small Perch on Sunday, 7 Big Perch reported Saterday on Minnows, another boat 3 limits of Perch all small. One boat had a grand day on Hybrids. To add insult to injury in the weather world, a willow fly was out Saterday morning and the infernal skiters like to have et me alive Saterday nite. I catched one in the act and squzed the life outen him. Aproximately 30 boats launched at Wingate’s Friday, Saterday and Sunday. 2 of them had bad luck, bottem ripped outta one, lower unit outta the other. A man who lives in away from here sed if the gov-mint took the action he would in the Iran Nuke war, give them God Fearing People 60 days to git out then turn it into a glassified country. My neighbor sez he’s no doubt got the laziest dogs in the world, I ask why? He took table scraps out to them and they layed down to eat.
