Seminole Ramlin's January 1 , 2006 I jist took note of the inmates at “Gitmo Prison” going on a hunger strike. Well mite orter lettem go on and starve, it’ll save us a lot of dollars and they won’t be able to kill us off in our own country. For you who mite want a New Years tip for good luck in the coming years, think about this, “Once you leave the house going on a trip, never ever go back to the house for something you mite have forgot.” Pam Martin-Wells has taken her second Buck this year. Randy Weaver came in with a nice buck too. The hunters have done well this year in both Fla. and Ga. Our Ga. season will last until the 8th of Jan. David Roush from Ohio snuck up on the blind side of a 9 lb. Bass and landed him. He was well pleased with his trip to Lake Seminole. Two Valdosta fishermen fished Friday and had so much luck they spent the nite and gave it another go. On Saterday they landed 30 Bass. The 5 big ones weighed 30 lbs. The wind has kept the Perch from hitting several days over the past 2 weeks but when it is calm between where Spring Creek dumps into the river and the channel going up to Fish Pond Drain some 15 boats were seen taken Perch 30 ft. deep. Paul Barkley of Campbell, MO was down visiting his brother-in-law, Mr. Smokie Wilson, owner of Wingates, and caught some nice Perch which were fried up and et on Thursday night. May you have a happy and prosperous New Year.
