Seminole Ramlin's

September 10, 2006

The Talquin Hookers Tournement was won by Marcia Brown and she took home the money for the Hookers. Only 4 fish was weighed in, tough fishen.

While on Lake Talquin, Joey Farris weighed in Big Fish and Most Fish to win the Bainbridge Bass Clubs Fishout on that lake.

Sunday morning early in the rain, a couple of local Fishermen was able to pull in a couple of Big Bass.

Our best fish this week has been Bream off of beds, as many as 25 beds did very good on the lake. One boat reported 2 limits of Bream, another had 20, another had 1 limit.

Makes no sense to this scribler but Specks has been taken almost every day of this past week. One boat reported 2 limits on Minnows while others report Jigs are bringing in much bigger fish with a slow retrieve.

There is so many Catfish in our Lake that no one has to work for them. Just drop down the bait and lift it up 6 inches and he’s out.

We have word from the Bassin’ Times that the Black Lake near Bossier City, LA has been drawn down 4 ½ feet for the purpose of killing aquatic weeds such as hydrilla and lilly pads.

If you have noticed the Dog Days ended on the 5th of September. Now the song birds are singing again.

The picture is of Mike Prindle of Recovery, GA with a 8.4 lbs. Bass he caught on Sunday.
