Seminole Ramlin's

September 4, 2005

In the first year of Mr. Bush’s presidency he was hit by 9-11, the worst desaster to hit America since the War Between the States. Now, in his second term, “Katrina” the worst desaster ever to hit American soil, but Mr. Bush still has his hand on the wheel of this nation.

We hear that the Parish to the west of New Orleans Sheriff has kilt 8 looters himself. Tis sad they had to die, but order is restored in that Parish. Power is on and survivors are going on buses to the shelter being built at San Antonio Texas that will hold 25,000 homeless as long as needed.

Charlie Hill had a great thought as he always does. He sed, “Wouldn’t it be great if each church in America would take one family in and feed it, shelter it and get it on it’s way to being a family again?” By the way, he predicted this flood would happen 10 years ago.

We here tell that the Seminole State Parks camping units and meeting places are fixing to be built, “most folks has heard that before.”

According to “Field & Stream”, a man from Memphis Tenn. Registered a 24 lb. Bass some years ago. Now if that be true and he was weighed in on good scales, that will over ride Mr. George Perry’s 22.4 lb. Bass that has held up so long. If they can prove it?

Lots of Bass boat traffic this week, mostly getting ready for the big Labor Day Tournement held out of the Boat Basin in Bainbridge. One of the fishermen from Cairo GA landed a 10 lb. Bass in practice. We’ll see what he does at weigh in.

The biggest thing going now for the Pole Fishermen is Bream and Catfish. We have had coolers full of Bream but the Catfish is the 2nd best. All the Bass fishermen reports Bream beds just about everywhere they go. Looks good for Bream Fishermen this month and with certain things taking place we’ll have a great fall and winter Perch fishing.

The Bainbridge Bass Club’s Annual Labor Day Tournement was won by Eric Bozman and Billy Bowen, Jr. with 22.77 lbs. Frank Jorden and Fran Jr. was 2nd with 20.61 lbs. The team of Brock and Kelly had Big Fish, a 6.85 Lunker. The club donated $600.00 to the flood victims. Great thought.

Sorry, we don’t have any pictures, our computer is giving us fits.
