Seminole Ramlin's September 18, 2005
We have just got the work that W.B.F.L., the ladies Bass Fishing Trail, has closed up their trail for good now that the Bass Trail is in full swing. The 13 foot gator that was recently killed on Lake Seminole only weighed in at 542 lbs. Lord, I thought that it would have had a bigger belly than that. The Lake came alive with Perch, Bream and Catfish this week. All those folks that went for them came back smiling. It's a good feeling when all of a sudden things begin to bite. The Seminole Team Trail fished out on Sunday with the following results, Bozeman and Burnsed 20.16 and they had Big Fish 5.98, Brown and Brown 17.54, Childres and Childres 14.91 and Terry Smith and Jerry McKinney 8.00. Mr. Terry Smith soaked to the bone in sweat sed, "When the temp dropped below 105° the fish knocked off." Cold front he called it. Most of the winning catch was taken on Spinner Baits in the heat of the day. To those who love Tina Brock and her Country Music climb to fame will be glad to know that she won her 4th First Place at Mrs. Loretta Lynn's home in Tennessee. Now she will be on stage at the Opry House October 1 with Loretta Lynn and sing songs with her. One of the songs will be one her husband wrote. She also received a gitar signed by Loretta and made by Gibson for this special occasion. She works for the Reynolds at Bainbridge Pharmacy. Back in my younger days I seem to remember when Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt refused to meet with the 300,000 Gold Star mothers that had gathered in Washington to protest the war in Europe and Asia. So my opinion, Mr. Bush had done met with the radical lady who caused the rucus at his ranch. If'en she weren't stiren up trouble in Texas, she would be stiren it up sumers else. The duck hunting regs are published and so is the Snow and Canada Goose limits and dates. Sorry, we don't have any pictures, our computer is still giving us fits.
