Seminole Ramlin's May 15, 2005 Now that the GA Gov-mint DNR Division is trying to shove the river dredging down everyones throught. It gits my goat as to why some one in GA wants to pass them there kind of laws, next thing they’ll pass one that you cain’t ware a striped shirt on Sunday, $500.00 fine if you do. The DNR should surface in the real world long enough to go and find out what’s killing tons of Bass on Lake Walter F. George. Tournament there this past Saterday, the winner had 4 lbs. of Bass. A far cry from what is used to be. By the way, at a coffee table discussion it was sed, Decatur Co. is now Dictator Co. There is so much fishen news till I’ll just hit the high spots. R&R on Saterday, Meadows and Scarbrough of Cairo and Gordon won 1st place with 21.19 lbs., King and Stevens of Albany with 20.59 lbs. Bush and Reynolds of Jackson Co. King and Stevens had Big Fish with 6.20 lbs. The Quincy Bassmasters with 20 boats was won by Bob Carver with 12.5 lbs. The Valley Sportsman on Sunday fished 29 boats. 1st place went to Howell and Morees with 22.28 lbs., second went to Story and Borland with 20.38 lbs. and third place went to Henderson and Batty. Big Fish went to Tindel and Watson with 7.63 lbs. New Bream beds opening up every day and at least 4 new Shellcracker beds are very active. If you come to Wingates and can listen to directions, we’ll do our best to put you on a bed of some kind. Mr. Culverson got taught a lesson by his wayward son on how to fish. Mrs. Betty Hobbs (The Trollin’ for Beaver Lady) had to have help pullin a big ole Red Breast Brim outa the water at Imonia Lake at 10:30pm at nite. Husband had to help.
