Seminole Ramlin's
July
24, 2005
No one knows for sure what tomorrow mite bring, but if all goes well
and the "BASS" puts the Bassin' Gals Tournement Trail on,
this October 3 fine Fisherladies, all with Bainbridge roots, will be
at the weigh-in on stage to answer questions from the audience. Ms.
Kathy Majors, Mrs. Lucie Mize and Mrs. Pam Martin Wells. My hat is off
to these three ladies.
While we are "Howdy Doing" ladies, hats off to Mrs. Tina Brock
who was just at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee and she won that round
and will advance to the next step. If she can win that next step, she'll
be well on her way to a national singing career. Good luck to you Mr.
and Mrs. Brock.
This passed week, someone in Spring Creek caught a Talopia (Nile Perch)
over in the Creek. That is the second one I've seen caught from the
Creek. I do know that if the water gets colder than 50 degrees, the
Nile Perch will die. The Creek is fed by spring fed water coming out
of the ground at 62 degrees in most cases.
Mr. Davis and son brought in a nice stringer of Bass, 2 over 5 lbs.
He is most consistant late evening Bass fishing.
Mr. Eddie Ditto fishing amonia took 20 Big Warmouth Perch while flipping
a week bank.
Three of our local kids, Casey Ingram, David Lee Ingram and Sam Hughes,
while fishing a private pond caught a big stringer on balled up Lite
Bread. No matter what you catch them on, just catch them.
Our very own Joey Sloan, from Wingates, went out fishing with his dad,
Mike Sloan, on Saterday and caught a rite nice size Bass and was able
to land it.
