Seminole Ramlin's January 30, 2005 We here in America are ever blessed with 8 or 10 world wide news sources to give us on the site news 24 hours a day. I can never get use to seeing the same story told many different ways as we do nowdays. Take for instance the car bombing in Iraq that killed a Naval Officer and a civilian contractor. Only one news source told the true story while others only slanted the news. The true story was that “we” got em at the site by over head cameras, followed them to there house, got the house number, got a close up on each one of them, the house was surrounded, searched and “we” got all of them in jail. News should be reported, not slanted. Now I ain’t never been in a well in the Klondike, nor have I ever been in a tomb. But I wuz onct in Baffen Bay and the Davis Straights north of “Tule” Greenland. But the Faceville Babtist Church was without heat this past Sunday and I pert near froze to death. Good thing the sermon was short and to the point. Hit were warmer outside than inside. This past week Mr. Marcus Sherling come a fishin with a friend bringing with him a jar of his famous Peach Preserves. He and his partner took home 2 limits of Perch, but he held up 2 very nice ones for a picture, I say in the range of 2 lbs. each. Throwing back some 40 small Perch and Hybrids to live another day. Mr. Wes Meadows of Cairo, GA landed a 28.5 lb. Striper 40 inches long on a 10 lb. test line and a #9 Shad Rap over in the Creek. He was rite proud of the fish and he has every rite to be. Great catch. The 3 Bass Tournaments coming this weekend, the WalMart BFL, the Tri-States and the Talquin Hookers, will be bringing many fishermen to Bainbridge. All should be welcomed to our area as they bring the “GREEN” to our county. To all of those who follow the Bassin’ Gals, you will be glad to know Mrs. Sarah Johnson got a clean bill of health in her heart problem. Go gittem Sarah.
