Seminole Ramlin's February 6, 2005 You mite well be called a redneck if your from Texas and eat a Halipino Pepper for noon and another for supper, specily if you have 36 years in the military. This redneck came up with one solution for taming the terrorists in a country who has killed a person in that country. Kill him, wrap him in a fresh pork skin, when rigor mortis sets in, bury him face up with his head away from Mecca. Televise the whole thing and show it world wide. Grisom I have to admit, but very effective. The F.L.W. fished out of Wingates Saturday with 150 boats and was, in my opinion, a very good tournement. The King of Lake Seminole’s Cold Weather Fishermen, Jerry Simmons of Donalsonville won the event with 22.12 lbs. of Bass. He fished as a boater. Roger Morrow of Griffen, GA was second. Kenneth Price of Senoia, GA won the no-boater with 11.5 lbs. and Bob Hardin of Albany came in second. Mr. Hardin has fished all of the 10 J.W.O. Tournements and with his partner, won 2 and placed second in 2 more. Michael Washburn of Covington, GA had Big Fish of the F.L.W. with 8.8 lbs. The Bass caught during the F.L.W. were not on any given pattern. They were caught from 3 ft. to 25 ft. on anything from Traps, Sinko’s and Drop Shots. The Tri-States Trail fished out Sunday with Bozeman and partner having Big Fish – a 7.57 pounder, Robert Stewart and John Adams of Panama City took first place and Reggie Calhoun and daughter Britney was second. The Bassin Gals fished out also on Sunday with Toni Scott being in first, Mrs. Barbara Wachter, second. Mrs. Scott set a fashion trend for Lady FisherLadies, foot gloves for each toe. It’l go over big. Mrs. Wachter has been fishen Seminole since Tom Larson was head of the Chamber and the office building was on East Shotwell St. Feb. 5th fish out with the Bainbridge Bass Club, Andy Roberts had most fish with 10.81, Vic Pickles had big fish a 5.11 lb. They fished the Appalachicola River below Jim Woodruff Dam.
