Seminole Ramlin's February 29, 2004 From what I hear and not that I know yet, but hit looks plum like Mel Gibson has done created him a Masterpiece of movie making. I thought he did well when he made the movie bout the Irish and the folks whut cut him up a piece at a time and sent the piece to the sections of land to put down rebellion. Well he then did the story of a Revolutionary War Veteran when he had to return to his old self and whip up on the British, who in my opinion was in the “Hitler” category. They butchered many people and set fire to churches full of women and children, when he got a full gut of it, he turnt into a superman and whipped up on some British officers and men. Now he has done come along and rit a story of the last 12 hours of Christ. This is what the Pope of the Catholics sed, “It is as it was.” We think as we read the reports of folks who has seen it, it will bypass all other films ever made. Many people think that it is the best story ever told on the silver screen. I hope I get to see it soon. I know knowing him has been a blessing in my life. The Fishers of the Hungry of Cordele fished 49 boats in a fine field of the best in the southwest GA. The Big Fish went to Bo Carver of Ashborn, GA. 3rd place went to Brock and Kelly of Jackson Co., FL. 2nd place went to Steve Stewart and Donny Creel of Seminole Co. at 16.98 lbs. The First Place went to Terry Stevens and David Johnson both of Jackson Co. with 24.02 lbs. We have to say the Valdosta Bass Club “all” had long faces when they weighed in, that was the first day. The first day of the 26 Bass Masters of Macon, GA was taken with 30 lbs. of Be-Ute-Ful Seminole Bass. Mr. Van Kennedy took home the bacon on that one. Not only are the Peaches, Pears, Redbuds and Plums blooming, but Sweet Gum, SassyFrass, Figs and some Grape vines are on the move. Specks seem to be worse than last week, the penacilian didn’t cure the lock-jaw. At this riten, 4½ gates are open on Jim Woodruff, the water goin through is clearing. Bedding Bass can be seen.
