Seminole Ramlin's

November 2, 2003

When you see a gov-mint agency, political party or private biznes sendin out several letters or bills to the same address about the same thing, you can bet that it’s one or two things that’s took place. They have more money than the law allows or they don’t know how to correct their “puters”, or they jist plane don’t give a toot.

Who would have thought that a big school, who’s mascot is a Fla gator and enstead, used a Fla crockidile on there invite cards could field a team that could stop a GA Bulldog in it’s tracks????

The Big Lake is beginning to have Coots and Gadwallies come in to the the Creek sections. Looks like a good Duck Season to me.

We note with great interest that Mr. Zell Miller has done run out on another greased foot log. These days politics has strange thangs in and amongst its members.

The story of the passing of Mrs. Chang K. Shiek, by Sam Griffen was a great tribute to this great lady. She touched the lives of 4 people in Decatur Co.: Mrs. Chason, her teacher at Weslean, Pat and Mildred Kelly, whom she welcomed to Formosia, and Dub Cason on KwajiLiean in the Pacific. One never knows who is gonna pop up next.

The Bass Fishen on the Lake has been slow to dead. I mean you had to say prayers, Hail Mary’s and some Yiddish to git jist a bite. The reglars that fish instead of Deer Hunt was zeroed. However, tomorrow is another day.

Specks and Catfish is the best thing going as of this riten. If you can’t ketch Catfish now, you jest ain’t gonna ketch none.

The Perch has been coming on Jigs and Minnows at Faceville Landing and over on the Hootch. Those two places will produce good Fish. Close by Wingate’s has been slow for the most part.

We look forward to the first of 3 Long John Tournements on November 15th at safe day lite. Sarah Johnson and her girls will be holding forth.
