Mr. Sapp of Carrabell Fla. is a kin of mine in the Odam Family. He lives on the Tidal River north of Carrabell 6 miles. The name is Crooked River. He and a friend of his decided theyed take a little trip on the water. They bought a Carolina Skiff, cut the top off it and replaced it with a small sleeping caben. It was this past summer, so they put an air condioner in it with a generater on the back. They were finily ready. They launched at Alton, Ill. With good luck and carful driving, they traveled 1400 miles in 14 days to Carrabell. What a trip that would have been. I could have trolled a Lure the whole way.

Here on Seminole the fishen has been sorta so so as far as Bass is concerned. Well informed fishermen tell me that the Creek bed has lots of Bigguns laying on the bottom. Course no one has brung none in off the bottom yet. Maybe soon.

The Perch is a different thing, there has been some gooduns on the Skinnen Bench. Some times it took 3 trips to get enough filets for a mess. Then sometimes it only takes one trip to pull in a mess. No one can tell me just why the big Shell Crackers is in 2 to 3 foot of water and fat as butter balls.

The Duck Season open up like a kids toy cap pistol with wet caps. Very few was killed and them that was hunting said they weren’t disappointed as it was better than being at work.

The Duck folks was a bit tite with their Ducks this year but free as all git-out with the Goose. 5 Canadas and 5 Snow each hunting day. I think it would be a good idea to have each Duck Hunter bring in 5 water turkeys a day, dead.
